What's Included
Duro-Last in The Woodlands, TX
Custom-Fabricated Deck Sheets
Panels are cut and factory-welded to your building's exact roof plan before they ever arrive on site, not measured and pieced together in the field.
Fewer Field Seams
Prefabrication means most of the welding happens in a controlled factory setting, leaving less seam work for our crew to finish on your roof.
Reflective Single-Ply Membrane
The white membrane surface reflects sunlight instead of absorbing it, which matters on a roof baking under a Texas summer for months at a time.
Built for Low-Slope Commercial Roofs
Duro-Last is designed for the flat and low-slope roof profiles common on retail buildings, offices, warehouses, and multifamily properties.
One More Option, Not the Only Option
We also install Versico TPO and PVC systems, so a Duro-Last recommendation comes from what fits your building, not from having only one supplier to sell.
Installed by the Same Crew Start to Finish
The team that measures your roof is the same team that installs the membrane and details the flashing, so nothing gets lost between steps.
Who Duro-Last Is, and Why Prefabrication Changes the Job
Duro-Last is a manufacturer of prefabricated single-ply roofing membrane built specifically for commercial and industrial low-slope roofs. That single word, prefabricated, is really the whole story. Most single-ply systems, including the standard TPO roofing membranes installed on a lot of commercial buildings, get rolled out on your roof and heat-welded seam by seam by the install crew, on your schedule, in whatever wind or heat that day brings. Duro-Last does the opposite. Panels are custom fabricated in a factory using your building's actual roof plan and dimensions, with as much of the welding done there as possible before the material ever ships.
That matters more than it sounds like it should. Every field seam is a potential failure point, a spot where wind uplift, foot traffic, or a sloppy weld can eventually let water in. A prefabricated panel arrives with most of that seam work already done under controlled factory conditions instead of on a rooftop in July. Our crew still handles the detail work on site, flashing parapets, drains, curbs, and rooftop penetrations, but there's simply less field welding standing between your roof and a finished install.
Which Buildings Suit Duro-Last, and Why ROYH Offers It
Duro-Last is built for the same roof profile most of our commercial roofing clients have: flat or low-slope. That covers a wide range of buildings across The Woodlands and Greater Houston, retail storefronts, professional office buildings, restaurants, multifamily and apartment properties, warehouses, and schools. If your building has a roof deck instead of a peaked shingle roof, it's a candidate. The membrane's reflective white surface also earns its keep here specifically, sending summer sun back off the roof rather than letting the building soak in it for months at a stretch.
We added Duro-Last to our commercial supplier lineup for the same reason we added Versico: property owners deserve more than one honest option. Some buildings, especially ones with a lot of rooftop equipment, tight parapets, or an odd roof geometry, benefit from a panel system measured and welded to spec before it arrives. Others are simpler and a field-welded membrane does the job just as well for less. When an aging roof has reached the point where patching no longer makes sense, we walk building owners through a full flat roof replacement using whichever system, Duro-Last included, actually fits the building. You can see the rest of the roofing and siding brands we install on our brands page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Duro-Last roofing?
Duro-Last is a manufacturer of prefabricated single-ply roofing membrane for commercial and industrial low-slope roofs. Instead of welding membrane seams entirely on site, Duro-Last custom fabricates panels in a factory to match your building's roof plan, then ships them ready for our crew to install and detail on your roof.
Is Duro-Last only used on commercial buildings?
Yes. Duro-Last's prefabricated single-ply system is built for the flat and low-slope roof profiles found on commercial and industrial buildings, not the pitched shingle roofs on most homes. ROYH Build Co offers it as part of our commercial roofing lineup alongside Versico TPO and PVC systems.
How is a Duro-Last roof different from a standard TPO installation?
Both are single-ply membranes, but the process differs. A standard TPO membrane is typically welded together mostly in the field, seam by seam, once it's on your roof. Duro-Last prefabricates panels to your building's measurements in a factory first, which reduces how much seam welding has to happen on site. We install both and will tell you honestly which fits your building better.
Does ROYH Build Co install Duro-Last for new construction and roof replacement?
Both. We install Duro-Last on new commercial builds and use it as a replacement option when an aging low-slope roof has reached the end of its service life. Every project starts with a roof evaluation so we can confirm Duro-Last is actually the right system before we recommend it.
