Who We Are

ROYH Build Co handles roofing, siding, gutters, and chimneys, plus a smaller slate of commercial work. If your homeowner's insurance covers it on the exterior of your house, we probably do it. Roofing is where the company started, and it's still the strongest part of what we do. But a bad hailstorm rarely stops at your shingles. It usually dents a gutter or cracks a piece of siding too, and knocks a downspout loose while it's at it. That's why we built ROYH Build Co to cover the whole exterior envelope, instead of leaving you to line up three separate estimates and three separate schedules for damage that all came from one storm. One point of contact, one company standing behind the finished work.
Roofing is still what most homeowners in The Woodlands call about first. Our residential roofing services cover every major roof type our suppliers make: architectural asphalt shingles, standing seam metal, Spanish tile and concrete tile, synthetic slate, and traditional slate. ROYH Build Co is a GAF Platinum and an Atlas Platinum contractor, two of the highest tiers either manufacturer offers. Those certification tiers matter for one practical reason. They unlock extended workmanship warranty coverage on top of the standard manufacturer warranty, and a non-certified installer simply can't offer that same protection, no matter how good the crew is. Manufacturers don't hand those tiers out for showing up. They require ongoing training and documented installation standards, and ROYH Build Co keeps both current.
Meet the Owner
Owner-Operator Seth Wehunt
ROYH Build Co is led by owner-operator Seth Wehunt, who works the job alongside his crews instead of handing your project to a stranger. His business partner, Mason, owns sister company ROYH Roofing and Construction. The two met back in 2015 on a baseball field, Mason pitching and Seth catching, and reconnected years later after both had built careers in roofing on their own. That reunion is where ROYH Build Co came from: decades of combined experience across high-end residential and commercial jobs, with Build Co carrying the stronger residential focus of the two companies while Mason's side of the business leans more commercial. Seth is still the person who walks your roof during the estimate, not just the name on the truck.
